Aya Porté, RYT began her yoga journey during graduate school in the US. Through yoga, she discovered the missing connection between her heart and her mind. She found balance, healing and strength in the asanas, eventually becoming a teacher herself. Aya believes in the power of breath and movement to heal both the body and the mind. She practices both Yin and Forrest yoga, finding the complementary practices to be extremely beneficial for a busy lifestyle.
Aya was raised in in Tokyo, giving her a deep love and appreciation for the city and its culture. When she’s not on the mat, she’s working with her occupational therapy clients or exploring the every-changing city.
